Dollar Tree Finds

I've been patiently waiting to find a few of these kitchen items on sale. I saw a few #AsSeenOnTV items in Biglots & Dollar General for $5-$10's

Also found a few cute things my daughter would love; Girly room decor, disney 100 piece puzzles & #elfcosmetics lipgloss.

Nostalgia Electrics (Hard Candy Cotton Candy Maker)

While using my GROUPON APP, I scrolled down to find what I've been searching for about a month for my daughter! Nostalgia Electrics Hard Candy Cotton Candy Maker was either sold out in stores, not sold there anymore or out of stock online and or too expensive to ship from Canada.

This product is cute and perfect for our little girl! We surprised her after a long day at pre-k 😋.

I think it's really easy to put together and for our 5 year old to use herself, but I rather supervise. It can get tricky and messy when trying to keep the cotton on the stick.

Assuming from the box/picture we thought it came with flavored sugars, but didn't. So we had to smash some of our own charms lollipops in ziplock bags. (Excuse our mess.)

It was a little tricky at first (first time, she tried), but we eventually got the hang of things.

The good thing about this maker is that you can choose whatever type of candy you put in. Sugar, sugar free, mints... We will be purchasing a candy bowl and sugar free candies for a rainy day of fun.

American Diabetes Association

This Friday I received a package in the mail from "American Diabetes Association". I have to be honest and say I am not sure how I recieved it or why, but diabetes does run in one side of my family. (Not exactly sure which side.) I am just hoping I didn't get the gene. It's not an ideal lifestyle & yes I said life style. Diabetes requires some serious adjustments and managing your levels of blood sugar whether they be too high or too low is the trick.

Having a little bit of knowledge of the topic is enough to make me write about it. It's not fun, but with this box filled with goodies you can change and balance your diet it a fun, positive and healthy way.

Being I don't have diabetes, I will be donating this package. I opened it, it's got a set of card games with a timer, pamphlets about the diabetes disease itself, self awareness and positive ways to cope.
